Join us for an exciting deep dive into what we’re made of. We will unravel the mysteries of
DNA, genes, genomic technologies and more. We will explore how genomics is not only
shaping the health of individuals but also contributing to the well-being of our planet and
the prosperity of Canada. Some of the ways we use genomics today will surprise you. The
ways we will use genomics in the future will blow your minds! Participants will break out into
small groups to apply what we’ve learned in a short case study. Before we wrap, we’ll delve
into exciting careers and pathways in genomics. You’ll leave this session feeling empowered
with the knowledge and inspiration to make a difference in the world of tomorrow for a
brighter, healthier future.
