Hazardous chemicals are a part of everyday life. But what happens when there’s an accident, natural disaster, or fire? Antler Group assists stakeholders in mitigating these issues with their specialized Chemical Response Team. Are you interested in emergency services? Have you wondered how science plays a role in disaster management? Did you know multiple police and government agencies hire highly educated professionals from STEM backgrounds to assist in managing emergency situations? During this seminar we will be studying multiple emergency incidents involving hazardous chemicals. Students will then work in teams to manage their own emergency scenario.

Logan Barrett is a St. Johns College graduate with a proven track record within the Chemical Response & Disaster Management field. He is often called upon to mitigate emergency situations across Canada, the United States, and abroad. Including Africa (Sierra Leone/ Liberia/Ghana/Sudan), Europe (Moldova / Ukraine), and the Middle East (Türkiye). Logan specializes in de-escalating emergency situations safely and efficiently. Often incorporating new technologies and engineering controls. Logan ensures innovation and solutions for Antler Groups stakeholders.
