Combatting Climate Anxiety – Finding Calm and Taking Action

Feeling overwhelmed by all the talk of climate change? Climate anxiety can impact our mental and emotional well-being and make it hard to feel hopeful about our futures. In this interactive session, we will discuss some of the key drivers of climate anxiety, from concerns about environmental disasters to frustrations with inadequate governmental responses. Most importantly though, we will explore practical coping strategies, emphasizing the importance of education, action, and self-care in finding a healthy approach to finding our way through these challenges. By understanding and addressing climate anxiety, we can constructively approach the climate crisis, fostering resilience and agency for a sustainable future.
