Documenting the Future Using Your Phone

If you have a cell phone, you have a movie studio in your pocket. In this workshop, students will learn how to use the technology they likely already own, to tell a compelling story that can bring light to a cause, or innovation.
It’s not just about pointing your camera and hitting record. There are steps you need to take in order to create something that will engage people. A well produced video can reach thousands of people.

The students will learn:
The 5 stages: Development, Pre-Production, Production, Post Production, and Presentation.
How to set up and use your cellphone for better looking videos
Sound options for cell phone recording

There will be some hands-on exercises that we will do, as participants use their own devices.
